YouthReach International provides positive adult relationships to orphans and at-risk children through a mentoring model. The 12-3-1 Mentor you see above emulates Christ in small groups (12), close relationships (3), and a dear friend (1). As the relationship grows deeper, the mentor is able to offer the orphan/at-risk child the hope of Jesus Christ, unconditional love, and practical help while navigating life's situations.
While these mentoring relationships are the heart of our ministry, orphan camps are the catalyst for the relationship. During our camp outreach, we will be focused on creating the initial relationship between child and 12-3-1 Mentor, and coaching that mentor in truly sharing Christ's love with the child. This relationship, and our support for the mentor, will continue throughout the year.
