The Lord blessed Mentor Retreats in Russia and Ukraine in February!
With 2 separate teams from Atlanta, almost 50 Mentors attended two simultaneous retreats (one in Novosibirsk, Russia and one in Donetsk, Ukraine). Each one focused on storytelling as a means of reaching orphans with the saving message of Jesus Christ, helping them understand their place in God’s story, and giving the Hope of Christ to those in hopeless situations. A special thanks to Jody Vickery, John Connel, and Cathy Cox for going, leading, speaking, loving, and making a huge impact on those that are the hands and feet of the Father to the fatherless!
School of Life opens for business today!
The School of Life (Shkola Zhizney) in Donetsk, Ukraine begins regular operations today with programs to reach orphans, orphanage graduates, at-risk kids, and local church youth. Yasha and Alyona, a young Christian couple that will run the programs at this youth center, are uniquely qualified, excited about the opportunity, and filled with the Holy Spirit to make an impact on the next generation of Ukraine! Hope Gatherings in Atlanta this week!
YouthReach International will host business and family luncheons this week in Atlanta on Thursday, March 4 and Saturday, March 6. There is still room to come. The meal is free. The information is invaluable. The hope for orphans and at-risk kids is priceless!

Orphan Sponsorship Program about ready to launch!
Many of you have asked how to make a direct impact on the life of an orphan in Ukraine or Russia. At our Hope Family Gatherings (see above) we will be launching our Orphan Sponsorship Program. This will allow you to get to know an orphan in our program, provide for some unique needs, and create a relationship via letters that can change their life (and yours!). Come to our Saturday events for more information.

We have teams preparing to go to Ukraine and Russia from all around the United States, with trips beginning in April and going through next August. Fall trips are also beginning their planning now. Please be in prayer for all of our short-term missionaries and the impact they will have on the orphans and mentors.
