Youth Centers

YouthReach International will open youth centers in select cities, based on the development of the 12-3-1 Mentors, availability of facility, ease of access for orphanage graduates, and of course, available funding. These will be day facilities that will serve as a general support base for orphans, at-risk children, and orphanage graduates, with whom we have already established relationships through our orphanage outreach programs listed above. We will provide opportunities for the children to visit the youth centers regularly during their last 3 to 4 years of living in their orphanage. When they graduate, the centers will provide them a safe environment to be mentored by local Christians, socialize, receive spiritual support, and request practical assistance with the issues of life on their own.

• “School of Life” Youth Center – Donetsk, Ukraine – opened in early 2010!
  YouthReach International opened the “School of Life” youth center in Donetsk, Ukraine in early 2010, through our partnership with the “Let’s Love Foundation” there. This center allows for mentoring opportunities, Bible classes, beauty and hair styling opportunities for girls, and sports and recreation. The “Let’s Love Foundation” provides a full-time family to manage the center, as well as volunteer 12-3-1 Mentors who work in the center. YouthReach International will provide curriculum for life skills training, transportation for orphans and volunteers, mission teams to work in the center, and partnering opportunities for churches in the United States and abroad to support and personally work with the center.
  
  
• Youth Center – Novosibirsk, Russia – scheduled for 2012
  YouthReach International is investigating opportunities through partner churches for a facility in Novosibirsk, Russia, to offer a youth center to the orphans, at-risk children, and orphanage graduates within our current programs. The exact schedule of this project will greatly depend upon funding and facility availability. In the mean time, we are developing the programs that will be offered in this center, and have been running these programs in the orphanages since September of 2011.
  
  
• Youth Center – Simferopol, Ukraine – not currently scheduled
  YouthReach International is investigating the feasibility of a youth center in Simferopol, Ukraine. We anticipate about 3 to 5 years before our infrastructure in Simferopol will be able to support an endeavor such as this. Of course, partnering opportunities may result in much faster timelines.
